I'm an engineer working on an RV project. I got this paint roller to paint some kitchen cabinets that I wanted a really smooth finish on. Surface preparation is everything, so you have to spend more time preparing the surface than painting, first sanding, wiping with a rag and then degreasing. Especially in the kitchen in the mobile home. I just used this paint roller today and it gives a really smooth finish, it also holds the color well allowing you to get into small areas that are difficult to reach without the use of an embossing brush or similar. I usually just throw away the paint rollers, but I cleaned this one up because I need to paint in the future. Cleaning was ok, took a while but that's pretty typical with foam rollers. Overall the quality of this roller is good and I think this foam should be good for multiple uses if properly cleaned with latex paint.
