This is a 1500w (3000w peak) inverter that I have used in my RV to power a microwave, coffee maker or TV with To supply electricity when there is no shore power or generator. available. I chose a pure signal wave instead of a modified one because I also plan to power my laptop and TV and charge a medical device as needed. Modified is cheaper but better for tools. The Pure sign wave gives the same output as your home surebet. It's much better for the electronics. The first thing that struck me is that it is well packaged and looks very sturdy. (It's also a lot bigger than I expected.) It comes with rubber mounting grommets for a secure fit, as well as battery cables. It has a grounding lug and three power outlets, plus a power switch if you don't want to use the remote control panel. The instructions state that each plug is rated for 15A (1500W), but the total load of the three plugs should not exceed 15A (1500W). .Installation Considerations: Must be installed in a dry location between 32F-104F with large airflow. It's getting warm. I'll put mine in a heated/cooled storage compartment. You need to make sure that the further away you are from the battery, the bigger the power cables should be. If you underestimate them, there will be a voltage drop and possibly a fire. The included cables didn't get hot when I drew 1300 watts.
