I mounted these lights on decorative metal poles to add some interest to the flower bed. I like the idea of "flowers" for this purpose, but I was expecting softer, less Christmassy colors for bulbs. In addition, the "flowers" are made of clear plastic, so they are not visible day or night. You only notice them if you look closely at the lighting.
