First of all, I'll clear up the fictitious measurements in the product overview: Outside Dimensions: 17 1/4 BX 11 3/4 TX 17 1/2 H. Inside Dimensions: 13 1/2 W x 9 3 /8 D x 13 7/8 H. Note that the inner fan housing occupies 1 3/8 of the space on the left side of the cover. As a trucker, I charge it up, plug it in, and it stays on throughout the ride. I think having an internal fan to circulate cold air makes this unit far better than other fanless brands that only use convection.
