Our cabin in northern Michigan is off the grid. I have over 20 years of experience with batteries, solar panels, generators and inverters. My first inverter many years ago has always been my favorite. Until now. This time I wanted a pure sine wave inverter that is not too expensive. That's what this one is good for. I need 600 watts or less in an inverter. My testing procedure when I received the inverter showed a few things. First, the power consumption of this 600 watt inverter is less than I expected. When installed in the cab I see 10% less battery drain. Overall I am satisfied with this inverter. The voltage reading is accurate, as is the output voltmeter. However, I would prefer an LCD display.
