This KVM Switch comes with the necessary cables to connect two computers with one monitor, one keyboard and one mouse. Speakers and a microphone are also connected to it. I don't have an external microphone, but other connections work fine. I especially like the remote switch. It's nice to be able to hide the KVM box and cables out of sight behind the computers and switch between computers with a small switch in front of the computers. My previous KVM switches were VGA and didn't have this nice improvement. Please note that the switch does not come with monitor, keyboard and mouse cables. KB and mouse usually have their own, but make sure you have an HDMI cable with the correct connectors. This switcher features full-size HDMI connectors and the included cables are full-size HDMI as well. You must provide Micro HDMI to HDMI or Display Port to HDMI adapters if required for your monitor or computer.
