Too quiet for use on a plane or anywhere else. I understand it's for "safety" but even kids keep complaining that not being able to hear is pointless. Other reviewers either got a different product or their kids just don't want to complain. At maximum volume I can't hear anything in a quiet house, I understand that children probably hear better, but.
