We got the 24v model. My kids love it and use it often! Fun at 5 years old (maybe younger) and loving it at almost 9 years old as well. It has held up well and my kids aren’t especially gentle. The flag stick broke off at the insertion point but that was probably deliberate on their part. Definitely a worth while purchase!

After I received this product, the description updated to say ages 4-8. Be careful which model you are purchasing. The smaller, cheaper version is really best for ages 4-7. It is sold by a 3rd party seller, so you have to pay to return it. I bought both my grandkids I have a 5 year old grandson & 4 year old granddaughter. They come all assembled in the box the only thing that needs to be done is to charge the battery. Got this for my daughter’s bday and rode it everyday this summer. All the kids in the neighborhood loved riding it as well that the parents are all getting one for Xmas for the kids.

As long as we remember to charge it fully the day before using it, he gets a nice long ride out of it. This was purchased for my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She had no problem figuring out how to use it and really loves it. It does have a short battery life and doesn't go as fast as she'd like but it's still worth the money! I was even able to try it out and it was fun.
