After I received this product, the description updated to say ages 4-8. Be careful which model you are purchasing. The smaller, cheaper version is really best for ages 4-7. It is sold by a 3rd party seller, so you have to pay to return it. You can't return it to an Ebay return center.These are a lot of fun, and my son (8) has had a great time riding the larger model with his friends. Also, they need some space to get it moving. I made the mistake of having him try it out in the backyard while I was getting ready, and he got extremely frustrated that he couldn't figure out how to turn it in that small space.
