These socks have a very odd shape, probably due to poor workmanship. I ordered a size small because I'm a women's size 8 and the calf piece fits well but the foot piece doesn't hug your legs like normal socks. Instead, it's like putting your foot in ankle boots, but there's too much room around your feet and toe box, causing the excess material to clump up when you try to put the shoes on. They also have a long vertical seam that runs down the middle. that runs under your foot so you can feel the stitching with every step. It sucks when I wear them at home, so I can't imagine what it's like to wear these socks on a longer hike. Finally, on the outside of these socks, in the calf area, there is a large disgusting tag with a noticeable size. You can't cut it off, otherwise you'll be left with an ugly piece. I'm not sure why they feel the need to put it there. Also, the title is a bit misleading. Just to be clear, you will receive a pair of these socks in a small nylon pouch with a mini carabiner, which is a nice touch. The material is decent too. I think they need to correct their size to be worth the price.
