My wife absolutely loves this thing - she paired it with a second keyboard and mouse and it has made her COVID workspace much more ergonomic and ergonomic made functional. I also use it when I can pick it up from her and it fits both my large 16" MacBook Pro and her smaller MacBook Air. What you gain in strength with a one-piece design, you lose in adjustability. in height and get stuck at the angle of the installed base and you really don't want to type a lot on the laptop keyboard once it's there (it bounces up and down).
