While I'm disappointed with all these unnamed "brands" from China cluttering up product searches on Ebay, I needed a shoe like this and it was a Vine option so I took a bite. APPEARANCE The shoe has a cream colored sole and a navy blue mesh upper. The sock is protected by clear plastic. An elastic strap pulls the tongue to the body of the shoe after you slip your foot in to ensure a snug fit. The shoes aren't ugly, but they don't really have anything to do with looks. Appearance is functional. I think the picture on ebay looks better than the actual shoe. I have long, narrow feet and thought loafers could be a bit narrower, but they aren't. Also, they were slightly shorter than my typical size 13, almost like a 12.5. The shoes are definitely light and breathable, but felt spongy when walking, which I don't like. Feel like walking on marshmallows. This leads me to suspect that the insole is poorly supported or the sole is weak. QUALITY/DURABILITY While not bad, I didn't see anything in the shoe's construction that made me believe they would exceed expectations in terms of durability. As always, time will tell. These shoes are made in China which can mean poor durability at times, but the materials are fine, the stitching is fine and everything is passable. General Thoughts... PRO + Lightweight + Breathable + Relatively Inexpensive MEH * Didn't fit me, but YMMV * Doesn't look great * Made in China CONS - Spongy, not the feel you expect from a hiking boot SUMMARY These shoes. They exist in our time and in our reality. They're kind of useful. That's pretty much all I can say about this versatile shoe. I wish I could look forward to them more, but after wearing them I was frustrated in many areas. Of course, the price is cheap, but even with that, these shoes are ah. look elsewhere
