Review on πŸ”Š High-Power Digital 2.1 Channel Amplifier Board with Bluetooth, USB, and T-F Input - 50w x2 + Subwoofer BTL 100w - Ideal for Home Stereo Speakers - DC 12V-26V by Janet Hill

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It works so I kept it but didn't like it

After the amp broke and the USB connector came loose from the board I was able to test the board's performance and got a 4 star Rating because it sounded nice; This recently changed when the amp died, which made me reconsider my rating. Until I started playing with the amp, I initially only powered the amp with 12V at low volume because I had no other power source. I then connected the board to a boost converter to get 14-18-24v to see what would sound best. At 24 volts the sub-channel burned out. The sub-channel now only produces woof-woble distortion that never stops. Previously, even at low volume with Bluetooth enabled, the board froze and just turned itself off. Of course, this works for speakers well below the recommended specs. Overall I am very disgusted that I bought this board at this price. It's $10 cheaper than overseas if you buy from Alliexpress, I'm sure. After reading several other reviews of similar cases with this board, I would advise to buy a board without Bluetooth and use an additional BT module to preserve the sound quality and avoid problems with the board.
