The screw isn't very reliable

I like these for what it is and how much it costs, but the screw broke when I tried to pull it out of the vent. Luckily there was enough thread left to screw the screw back in, but that's the nature of aluminum and small screws. If the screw breaks completely, it is easy to screw in a new one, and it may be better to strengthen it. with a bit of epoxy which would be a nice touch from the manufacturer if you think about it. But the reason for the 3 stars is the sticky heat shrink tubing with sizing information printed on it to protect the vent from clipping. For the price I think it's ok. I see many people trying to use essential oils, but the cheaper fragrance oils used by soap makers would be better suited for this application. I've found that in the summer when the air conditioning is on the smell is significantly reduced, which makes sense. The fragrant oil seems to smell strong enough for my liking for about a week before it's time to toss the stick back into the soaking jar and replace with a fresh one. Other fragrance formulations may give you a stronger scent when you use the conditioner, such as B. Alcohol-based perfumes. But as you may have noticed, this device is odorless and just a diffuser, so that shouldn't be part of its rating.
