Excellent camera. I have a DSLR that is a bit dated and was craving some of the new features. I'm just an amateur photographer, but I often enjoy this hobby. However, with all the changes to mirrorless cameras lately, I couldn't see myself buying a new body and lens set until things calmed down a bit. So I thought I'd try to get by with a smaller sensor first. and that I might get a portability benefit. So far (2 months) I have been very happy with my purchase. I've been on 2 trips since getting it and although I've used both setups I've used the Stylus One for 95% of my photos. And while it has an amazing range of features, the main reason I use it is that I can slip it into my short cargo bag and take it with me wherever I go. Well, I'll admit there are times when a little more bulk just feels better, especially compared to when my DSLR is hanging from a Black Rapid harness. Ready to grab and shoot with just the right size in your hand. (Unfortunately, I didn't find such an option for the Sylus 1. It's so small it just dangles from the strap.) However, I'm very happy with the photos I took, as well as the ease of use, the features, and most importantly, the Portability.
