Review on 🚼 Safety 1st Easy Saver Diaper Pail: Hassle-free and Secure Diaper Disposal System by Kaitlyn Nelson

Great diaper pail - here's how to make it even BETTER!

This bucket is pretty good and priced right, but I made it EVEN BETTER for a few bucks more. Open the lid and remove the cup2. Remove the useless fake "Deo" coin and throw it in the trash (that's where it should be)3. Use a drill and drill evenly spaced 1/2" or 5/8" holes in the cup to make it look like a pipe. (see photo)4. Take old pantyhose (without toe holes) 5. Pour a few grains of activated charcoal into the top of your pantyhose to form a "ball" that fits and fills the drilled cups. This charcoal is perfect: Marineland PA0371 Black Diamond Activated Charcoal, 10 oz, 283 grams 5. Cut off the top of the "tight ball" and tie a knot in it. Make sure it fits completely into the diaper pail cup.6. Place the pantyhose-filled pantyhose back in the diaper pail (see photo) Voila! You now have a SUPER absorbent pad that, in my opinion, reduces smelly diaper odor to next to nothing! If you want to mask odors a little more, you can use scented kitchen waste bags. When you feel the smell coming back, just make another charcoal pantyhose ball and place it in a mug. I've been using the same "tight carbon ball" with 2 babies' smelly diapers for over 11 months and still have no diaper pail stink. Carbon lasts a long time! (Caution: You will obviously have an odor when you open the bucket, but when it's closed the charcoal absorbs odors and the bucket doesn't emit any odor.) See the attached pictures to see how I did it have made. Hope that helps! HAVE FUN!
