Review on Merkur Chrome Safety Razor 39C for Enhanced SEO by Jennifer Holt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Endurance test of the best male models

I bought this razor in February 2016 and I still haven't cut myself. I had only used a double edge razor for about 12 months before trying the angled blade and had used cartridge razors up to that date. The big difference between a dual-blade razor and a cartridge razor is obvious at first: don't press down on a dual-blade razor, and cartridge razors often have a strip to help the blade glide. IMO, Mekur Slant 39C slides easier than a standard double edge (D/E) but not as much as a slide bar cartridge. Also, I use Feather blades with a slant, but I found them to feel stiff with my closed D/E end. Maybe I have dry skin. I am writing this review simply because it is a good product. I don't spend a lot of time preparing for a shave. After a shower, I use 5-6 drops of shaving oil called Shaving Secret to improve glide, $3.99 at Walmart, then gel in a jar. I'll do one pass and you're done. Sometimes I shave my hair and run my hair through again, but every day I find it unnecessary. Occasionally I use a good shaving soap with a brush, but I'm too lazy. I just want to shave and move on. This was the only razor I've used a couple of times since buying it. As other reviews describe, this doesn't work well for everyone. I hope this review will answer some questions and help.
