My cat has gastrointestinal problems. I love this food and eat it, but my only concern is that it contains salmon oil. I've been trying to do a clean one ingredient elimination diet. If oil is included, maybe something else could be added instead of salmon oil. However, I know that there is also good taste. In general, herring or sardine oil causes fewer reactions since it's a newer protein, but it's still fish if we try to eliminate fish from the mix entirely. I think it would be possible to just use clams for flavor? Great texture and can help keep pieces from falling when broken into pieces.
