Arrived earlier than expected. Nice bright display, fits perfectly in the dash cutout on my 2017 F250 with the stand 90 degrees out so I can still see over it. I put an anti-slip sheet underneath to keep the stand from scratching the dashboard. The system is completely self-contained with no external transceivers on either end, so just plug in the power and you're good to go. Before installing the camera, I connected the display to the truck and took the camera for a ride by connecting it to my bike's 12-volt battery. Went straight to my back yard about 70 feet and behind the house before losing connection which is pretty impressive. My F250 is a full size crew cab bed so is 22ft long and the trailer is about 30ft long. When the camera is mounted on the underside of the trailer's rear bumper, it gives a perfect picture with no clutter (I tilted the camera's antenna down so I can't see the bumper, and the monitor so I'm out of the way ). . The camera is housed in a rugged die-cast aluminum housing with multiple LEDs. Looks very solid compared to the plastic case I had before. By the way, I connected the camera to the taillights, not the taillights. I still drive with my headlights on when towing, so I always have an active rear view.
