I felt like I had stretched my 19.5" Trek Marlin 29er too far. Too much cabin space. This helped reduce the range ...that reducing the stem length results in more responsive steering.not sure if i notice.everything is fine.this stem fits the steerer tube diameter of my fork (standard SR Suntour XCT fork) it will fit on a fork clamped). I had to put 2 shims for the steering column to take up the height difference. As the other one mentioned should the name go away. Maybe suck?
