Very light and very easy to assemble. Some people mentioned that the instructions were hard to read, but I just referenced the parts in the box and figured it out from there. It's really easy to figure it out yourself - the longest pipes go through the "shelf", the small ones - on the sides "shelves", the pipes of medium length - between the shelves. you will receive it. Fairly durable, doesn't sink as others have mentioned. I've had it assembled for a few weeks now and it's holding up strong. I'm a size 8 for women and it fits 2 pairs per shelf. I have a pair of chunky hiking boots that sit really well over my other boots. All in all a great piece for my very small space that saved me from having to step in front of a mountain of shoes.
