The case is very thin, like light cardboard. I was leaving work with a tablet in my arms and carrying papers when a wind blower folded the top flap of the tablet case, causing the tablet to fall out of my hands and fall, shattering the screen. If the lid had been tight, the wind would NOT have pushed the lid up and knocked the tablet out of my hands. I bought a case to protect my tablet screen, instead it cost me $100 to replace my tablet screen. This case had to have a better magnet and strength to hold the case on the tablet.
