Installation frustrating but worth it if it

Fits my 2016 Corolla S Plus. Looks great and works. Installation was frustrating, I would not recommend this to a beginner without the proper instructions which are not included. Below are some tips. I finally installed it. I tried searching the web for installation tips before purchasing - I highly recommend watching 2 videos. The second is perhaps the most important! Search "Dasaita 10.2 Corolla" on Youtube and find John Nguyen. The link to the second video is in the comments of the first video. Installation Tips: #1 - Three plastic clips/pieces on the top panel need to be cut off. I used side cutters (dykes). It's okay, you just have to know what. Bring it to the dashboard and see where the holes line up. The ones that need trimming are all above. The bottom and sides are aligned. #2 - You will need to remove the yellow and white clips from the factory unit and attach them to it. #3 - You need to remove the stock stereo frame from the long dash. pulls straight Be careful not to break the clips when removing. #4. The lower part of this display is in front of the dashboard. When I first looked, this display was VERY large to fit in this hole. It doesn't fit in. The bottom of the display is in front of the bezel (see attached image below). The default navigation application is "igo primo". By default, it has about 20 "favorite places”, all in Chinese. I just removed them. The maps uploaded in my area were a bit out of date (over 3 years old). I found free map updates on google. Look, they weren't hard to find. Some apps are not available in the Play Store with this version of Android. Again, I found the apk on google and used the apk installer to get everything working. XDA-Developers has a forum where you can find software updates and get answers to many other questions. I suggest checking it out. Again, just google "xda Developers Dasaita 10.2" and you should be able to find it. Basically, I like the device very much. Installation wasn't easy, but once installed everything was fine. Included was a piece of paper with an email address for technical support. Sounds sketchy, but I actually got a response (twice) within 24 hours. I would not have written this review without email support.
