This was a great way for me to install aftermarket speakers in my car. I only used them to connect the new wire connectors to the factory wires in the car. These turned out great. I don't think you could use them with heavy gauge wire or in a room exposed to the elements. But for the price it was a great option because I could keep the factory plugs.
