I really like this umbrella diffuser and plan to keep it in my bag for outdoor photography. This allows me to carry a silver umbrella with me instead of several umbrellas and a softbox. The neck, which is attached to the lantern, is very wide, so that a wide variety of light sources can be placed on it. The part that protrudes beyond the umbrella is also large so you don't damage the umbrella's teeth. The light it gives off is very soft (compare the shadows in the comparison photo between shade and diffuser). A NOTICE. This product is the ONLY white cover and does not include an umbrella.
