Diffuses the light just right. I feel like this should be included in the umbrella, but that's just personal opinion. But five stars for the quality of the product.

I wouldn't use my 51" Selens umbrella without this diffuser. But with that they make a great duo, providing very pleasing lighting for portrait and boudoir photography.

I got this for double diffused PLM Paul C Buff. The problem I have is that it's a bit big and doesn't have that much elasticity. I had to tie it and it also seems to give off a slight bluish cast. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not the best. Works for what I currently need for this.

Great umbrella but wish it was deeper and with diffuser included. I bought one separately but it doesn't fit very well. The material is quite thin compared to other brands and lets in more light. When I bought it I thought I would go for the detachable silver/black cover but I don't think so. For the price it's not bad, I just put a diffuser on top and then diffuse twice with diffuser cloth to soften the light.

I really like this umbrella diffuser and plan to keep it in my bag for outdoor photography. This allows me to carry a silver umbrella with me instead of several umbrellas and a softbox. The neck, which is attached to the lantern, is very wide, so that a wide variety of light sources can be placed on it.
