Damn needle box won't twist

There's quite a variety of items in the kit, but of what use is it if the needle box won't twist. I cant get it twisted enough to get a needle to come out of the opening. I need a quick mend job, but it's not happening right now. Later today I'm going to need to pry open the container and store the needle elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Pros

Gave one to each daughter and they love having a compact sewing kit for simple repairs.

Cons

The thread spools may get tangled easily due to overcrowding in the kit
