I struggled with the skins trying to put them on the pins. They are quite thick so it was a bit difficult to put one on each needle where the needles crossed. My daughter's bike with the big tires performed better than my son's. I only managed to get them on one of his hoops and even then it took me hours to fight them and they still don't look that pretty up close. My son's bike was so tight that the fairing ripped when I tried to attach it. If the spokes didn't break they would try to reopen near the cross section and you would see a hole where the spoke was visible through the skin. I tried rotating the skin but the skin is so thick and there is no space between the skins that the skins won't rotate. I love the ideas, but they don't really look pretty and are a lot harder to make than you might think. Unless you have a larger bike close by an adult I would say it won't work and don't plan hours to assemble it.
