Review on 🧲 Enhanced DIYMAG Neodymium Mount – Unmatched Permanent Scientific Mounting Solution by Kevin Carr

I needed this for a battery powered infrared sensor that I have to wall mount but have to remove a few times a year to change the battery. I screwed one of the pieces to the wall and the other to the back of the sensor. However, after experimenting with the others in the box, I realized that once connected, it takes a lot of force to separate them. They come in with plastic spacers, but once they're gone, oh my god, they often get stuck. I solved my problem by putting a floor chair leg felt sticker on one of the pieces so the magnet is adequately separated. You can buy these felt stickers at hardware stores (or at Revain I think) and they are for chair legs to protect wood floors. The sticker is just the right size and shape and the magnet is strong enough to hold but now I can easily tear it off. There are several of these monsters in the pack. I only needed one but it's still a good price. I expect to eventually find something else to keep with them.
