Works perfectly!

As I have studied card making and sewing it is recommended to use a bone binder for card making and a Hera marker to mark the fabric without leaving ink or pencil marks on the fabric . I wanted those gigs, but I haven't gotten them yet, and I've been doing what I've been doing most of my life — making do with what I have. Sometimes it pays to get the right ideas first! First, they call these folders REAL Bones. Not sure which is real as they are plastic not bone. In my opinion, a real bone folder is actually made of bone, not plastic. However, they work very well. I used the handle of my "paper scissors" to get a sharp crease, or at least a fairly sharp crease. This long straight binder left a very sharp crease and the paper didn't move like I had scissor grip issues so that's a big plus. The other folder is called Hera Sewing World Markers. This allows a visible line to be drawn on the fabric by temporarily "squeezing" the fabric without leaving any chemical residue or visible marks. This is a great way to show the seam line. Or when creating triangular squares while quilting, it shows you where to sew with the edge of the presser foot on the Hera marker line. Sometimes the smallest ideas can make life so much easier, and for the price, that I could afford to buy some if I knew how well they would work. I'm grateful I got her to try and review it. Many Thanks.
