I work on installing CCTV systems, most of them don't have a monitor when sold and just use customer's phone to display them. That means I need to have a screen on hand for setup and maintenance, and instead of lugging around a 22-inch screen that comes from the factory with foam inserts that crumble with every use, I've opted for something smaller and more portable. analog BNC input for some of the older systems we work with. This is actually my third after losing the 10" screen on the website and the last 12" power plug a few years ago. This screen has a metal frame, and while it's not super thick, it's stronger than the plastic frames of others. I still don't want to drop it, but I'm not so afraid that the case will just shatter on me after some time of use . The screen itself has an incredibly clear image, excellent for navigating menus and reading small, delicate text. Honestly amazed at its clarity and I'm running 4K displays for my home PC. The power cord is a decent length, 6 feet I believe, my last screen only had a 3 inch cord. I have a 10ft stem extension that I feel will need to use a lot. s with this shield due to the cable length that can actually be used. Recorders can sit on 8" shelves or have no exposed outlet on the wall of the room, so a few extra feet of power cord means a lot to me. Even the packaging itself is great for what I'm doing with the screen. and accessories separated by soft foam around the screen. This allows me to stow all the included accessories and various adapters (HDMI Displayport, DVI, BNC splitter, etc.) together, whereas in the first case they were simply hidden behind the screen with just a foam cover and left rattling. for the front of the display. I cut and added a carry handle from another box and it's perfect until the cardboard latch finally breaks. About 6 months later I would defiantly buy again if I had to. I'm still trying to convince the bosses to get everyone on these. Haven't tried setting the battery to 12v yet but it should be doable and I'll let you know if I get the chance as we carry around 12v 7Ah batteries for work.
