As I said, I had a similar issue with the manufacturer's cable so I must be at fault for the fault, but the level of fault and the danger involved are nowhere near comparable. The closest to the camera is the original Surface charger and the farthest is the charger. I take my cable in my backpack all the time and take it out so I can see it starting to snap, but it's only 0 to 100 in a second. It wasn't a tear, it was a complete disaster. But you can see that the quality of the material and the material of the wiring are different between them. I don't know what kind of wire they use for the cores but it's low quality.
