My Surface Book battery swelled which damaged my Surface Book and Microsoft replaced it. Oddly enough, my original power supply didn't work when plugged in both ways, it only worked when the cable was coming towards me, so I was no longer able to connect an external monitor with the power supply connected. First review: I'm testing now. There are no discernible build quality issues. No hum from the power supply. I will also be connecting a USB multimeter to the USB charging port soon. Note that it was estimated to take almost 5 hours to charge from zero, but the Surface 3 charged faster and was almost fully charged in about 3 hours instead.
