Much less response time

I have researched all currently available monitors and tvs using rtings dot com. So far I am very happy with the monitor. No dead pixels. Simple and intuitive menu. This is a powerful GPU at a fairly modest price. Pros: When it first came out, I compared it to my previous LG 60Hz LCD TV using a human perception testing website. No other mechanism has been changed, so it only reflects the monitor. With a 60Hz TV, I had an average time of 230ms and the fastest response time of 200ms to click the mouse after the human test website changed color from red to green. When I switched to this new monitor my average response time was 165ms and my fastest response time was 97ms. Both tests were run using my Logitech G203 gaming mouse at 1000Hz. This reduced my average reaction time by a whopping 30% and my fastest reaction time by over 50%. My new averages are better than 90% of the test users, and I'm not even a competitive gamer. Other than that, the resolution is pretty good for the screen size, the screen size is perfect for my 3 inch desk, the aesthetics are there. Very good, this is a very nice monitor with a good stand and decent cable management. Using my old LG TV in World of Tanks, I could see my trusty EVGA Geforce 1070 GPU giving me around 320 +/- 50 fps. Second, usually on low or minimum graphics settings, which I always use to reduce unnecessary clutter, and although the TV couldn't display most frames, getting a monitor with a frequency of 360Hz made sense to me. It also confirms my attitudes for the foreseeable future. G-Sync works seamlessly with my GPU. Cons: Text clarity isn't as perfect as say an iMac since iMac screens have twice the pixel density of other brands, but for my purposes text clarity is fully functional and I don't even notice it. The price is a bit higher than some budget gaming monitors, but in my opinion this is a significantly better monitor worth the money for the best gaming and general monitor. Contrast ratio in general is the weak point of IPS monitors, but this model has one of the highest contrast ratios among IPS monitors, which was another factor that made me buy it. If you want really good contrast then you need to look at other types of panels. FYI: I had to update my old GPU driver before this monitor would work on my system, I think due to the age of my GPU, which initially caused some issues as I mistakenly thought the monitor was dead out of the box. I don't blame the monitor for this as it works fine after updating the GPU driver. Resolving this issue required access to a second display that was already supported by my GPU driver.
