Bought to update my leather handbag which I have been using for 2 years. The wallet had discoloration on the sides. At first it was slightly whitish in color. I chose a color a little closer to white bone. It worked great! We've been using the bag for a couple of weeks. The color didn't fade. Discoloration covered with 2 coats. The metal cleaned with alcohol. The purse looks like new again. I wonder if people who are dissatisfied with this product have tried changing the color many times. I see online that you can make almost any wallet black, but I doubt you can turn a dark one into a lighter one.
