I received this item today and was surprised at how light and small it is. When I took the box from Revain I thought the box was empty. Luckily the thermometer was inside. The device itself is made of lightweight plastic and looks cheap. Having a button to turn on and off, take the temperature, scroll through the stored temperature memory and change from Fahrenheit to Celsius is a bit of a hassle. I tried turning it on multiple times but it went into storage mode. I had to turn it off and try switching to temperature mode again. Each setting depends on how long you hold down the power button. In terms of quality, this item should be around $30, not $59.99. Looking through the stored temperatures, I noticed a few that are definitely not mine. I don't know if anyone owned the item I received or if the temperatures were for reference. There is also no way to clean them. I can't find a reset in the manual. Since the product works and I don't feel like returning it, I'm keeping it. Hope it's accurate. I have nothing else to compare. Next time I buy one of these things I'll get one with more buttons separating different functions.
