UPDATE. I have a new lens "Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro"" for Canon, but this device works with the lens, but I get interference between the lens and the transmitter unit. There are lines in my photos to see, therefore they cannot be used at all READ THIS, IT IS IMPORTANT Just make sure you ONLY use AUTOMATIC LENSES with the new Sony cameras (A9, A7III, A7RIII) I bought one for SONY and one "Laowa 60mm f/ 2.8 2x Ultra Macro" and no I was able to sync the transmitter to the flashes. I sent it back because I couldn't get it to work. Then I bought it elsewhere and had the same problem , but I put on another lens, which works automatically, and the flash began to sync normally. Change lenses and stop working again. By the way, this only works with the camera for which it is intended. So, say we, Nikon on Sony will not work. This thing has to communicate with the camera and with the right lens. I just got myself a "Laowa 100mmf/2.8 2x Ultra Macro" originally for Sony but I emailed them to switch to Canon for the electronic iris and I'm glad I did because Sony (fully manual lens) and its flash won't work. I hope the canon version works. NO ONE WILL GET THIS PROBLEM. It doesn't matter how hard I look for it. Not even on the company website.
