Do not iron - these are cheap shoes. The upper is well made and fits very well. Mesh fabric is lightweight and breathable, it should be comfortable in warm weather. It's glued to a shaped and cut out piece of thick foam that resembles a swim board. Overall the shoe fits well but is a bit tight at the toe. So you can walk in them, but they're not all-day shoes. Even with light socks, they are tiring after long sessions and also a little sore near the big toe. (As the description says - shoes for water in the boat). I look forward to keeping them because I haven't found another comfortable, closed, lightweight mesh shoe. For $30 we'll see how they hold up with occasional intended use.
