I ordered this fan above my dining room table hoping the light would illuminate this part of my townhouse and the fan would create a nice breeze. The fan looks great and I've had tons of compliments. It's odd that the light turns off when switching between brightness levels, but that's just a minor quirk. The wings turned very quietly and produced good air movement. Perfect right? Until the clicks started. Click, click, click - like in childhood when you put something in the spokes of your bike. Makes me mad. I ordered a new fan which was promptly delivered in a perfect box. Opened the box and found a broken fan - broken not by the shipping company or the seller but by another buyer who had obviously tried to install the fan but couldn't, then sent the dented and scratched fan with the broken one Returned receiver to seller who didn't bother opening the box and inspecting the goods before sending them to someone else. Luckily Revane allows me to return the broken one. In short, it's a really good fan, but the installation guide is more or less useless and you're taking a risk with the seller. Ask yourself: are you lucky?
