I am very tall, broad shouldered and have slept on my side all my life. I was happy to have found a good high loft pillow after a long search. I expected the company to win right away, but I ended up being plush. The firm is halfway between memory foam and regular foam. I pressed my head against him and he pushed it back about halfway so my spine wasn't quite straight. It's only about an inch tall, making it about 6 inches tall when in use. about an inch too big for me. The plush keeps my head right where I put it. This side sleeper is incredibly happy with this pillow, waking up without a stiff neck for the first time in YEARS.
