CLIFF NOTES: There are a ton of similar ropes (essentially the same), Great Customer Service makes the difference!So you've probably noticed that there are a bunch of sellers selling essentially this same rope (plastic handles, 90 degree ball bearings, rubber coated wire rope) on here. That's great because it is a great design that works really well compared to traditional ropes without ball bearings. It's very fast for double unders, etc.I've owned/bought about 5 of these ropes from different sellers, they've all worked great and I've never noticed one to be particularly "better" (or even different than another. The reason I've had so many is that even though the instructions specifically say not to, I use mine on the cement patio behind my house, which eventually wears down the cable and causes it to fray and fall apart (usually lasts a couple months depending how much you use it). I like jumping rope and ropes are extremely cheap compared to other types of exercise gear (like the $1200 treadmill my boss just bought) so I'd just buy a new one every few months, chalk it up, no big deal.The reason that I want to recommend this rope in particular is because of the great customer service from the owner/seller, Grace. When I bought the rope she sent me a very nice email about her one year 100% warranty. I emailed her back, "thank you" but that I use mine on cement, which I know will wear out the cable in less than a year, and since I know that you aren't supposed to use it outside, I don't expect her to replace it. She emailed me back not to worry and just let her know if there is a problem.So, a couple months later, I frayed the rope to the point of needing to replace it, and before I bought a new one I emailed grace about buying a replacement cable (the handles and bearings are still of course fine). Despite again telling her that I used the rope on cement, knowing full well that it would wear out, and that I didn't expect her to replace it, she EXTREMELY GENEROUSLY AND KINDLY offered to send me a new cable for free. A few days later, I got a package with not just a cable, but an entire, brand new rope, still in the package. I was very impressed by that level of service considering I had clearly used the rope in a way that would 100% inevitably wear it out, and she replaced it anyways.BOTTOM LINE: There are a lot of sellers selling essentially this same rope (I've been through 5 of them) but what set this one apart is that the seller Grace is extremely nice, generous and wants to make sure you are happy with the buy. Also, it comes with a little bag, which not all of them do, and is a nice touch. My only other note is that using it on pavement will wear out ANY CABLE FROM ANY BRAND after a while, so if you are going to use it outside. It's physics, just accept it (they clearly say not to use on pavement). This one lasted as long or longer than any that I've had and Grace replaced it for free.
