I'm trying to achieve the nirvana of minimalist travel, but two things are holding me back. Perfect shoes are another story, but I think this shoulder bag will be a great solution to my other problem - the perfect multifunctional bag. I already travel with a wallet on my shoulder - that's great. Black and small, I can use it in addition to my "one personal item" on budget airlines and no one pays any attention. So I always have my cell phone, lip balm, cards and money to hand. However, this fails when it comes time to add glasses, a sunshade and hand cream. Well, all the things I might want to take with me when I get to my destination but don't want to lug my backpack around. Enter this amazing hobo sling. It's thin enough that it doesn't take up space in my personal belongings, light enough not to add extra weight when I'm backpacking, it has a comfortable wide strap, and it's also big enough that I'll even drop it Can be. my flight log when I go to a café for work. From a multifunctional point of view, it has enough space for everything I buy, it works as a beach bag, as a campus bag when I'm not the weight of the world, and it can even simply serve as a laundry bag. Second, it certainly doesn't protect against a bag cutter, so it won't be such a holdall. However, I decided that I would probably guard any valuables differently if I felt like I was in this situation. It doesn't usually bother me; but that may be a consideration for others. And it's versatile - can be paired with jeans or a dressier outfit. Well, if only it were in plain black, take a deep breath. The pattern is busy, especially on large items. So unless all of your outfits are solid neutrals, there's a good chance they'll clash. I would order another one locally (yes, I'm keeping this one because it's incredibly charming and will go with a lot of my outfits). But a plain black would really bring this to a level of versatility that would make me swoon. I'll try another provider. Fingers crossed it turns out just as good!
