This cable has failed after about 1 year of very infrequent use. I bought this cable to connect my phone to my laptop at work on the rare day that it needed to be charged before I could get back to my truck. The cable has been used less than 50 times and can be thrown away. There was an odd issue on one side of the cable where it would only work if properly connected. USB-C can be connected in any way. Well, after less than a few months of use, that's no longer the case. The "untrusted" end of the cable will now not work no matter what orientation it is connected in. I jumped on the Anker bandwagon a few years ago and slowly but surely all of their products have let me down. I can live with the failure of a product that wears out with frequent use, but this latest cable failure has me searching for non-Anker alternatives. This Anker product didn't stand up to "desk work" so I see no reason to recommend it to someone who can rely on it for work or travel.
