They do what they have to.

I am making a small device for barbers that will increase the voltage for hair clippers and I always check the output as the 2 plugs have different voltages. I used them in a 3D printed case so I can plug it in and see both voltages at the same time, this saves testing time. I've only used 2 of these but they worked great.
