Review on Verbatim 25GB Blu-ray BD-R LTH Disc 2X Single-Layer (Low to High Speed), 1-Disc 96569 by Bud Crabtree

My LG burner worked fine with these discs at slow 2x (I'm so used to 4x it seems too slow to me). Anyway, it is not compatible with my Liteon iHOS104 reader. There is no firmware update for Liteon to make it compatible. So I called Verbatim as the Revain site says in the warranty section that if they are not compatible they will exchange these LTHs for an HTL type. The boss told me that Verbatim's policy is to NEVER replace anything that is different from the original product. So I reiterate: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL VERBATIM Swap THIS LTH DISC FOR THE HLT TYPE! Make sure you are happy with the lack of incompatibility with multiple recorders and readers. Know that you can record but not play, and now it can work in your friend's player. Guess I'm now sending all of these discs back for a refund. Booo or Revain or Verbatim (or both) to mislead customers. I will continue to use my 4x bd-r discs with known reliability for only 20 cents more per disc.
