When you first see this item you will probably think "it's cheap” or "what the heck should I do with it?” Well I like it really. What I love most is that this is MADE FOR my car. I have a 2020 Honda Civic Sport. I've tried phone mounts with air vents that either fall off or block the A/C, and as a Southern Californian I don't try to block the A/C. I've also tried dashboard mounts which literally ONE DAY work: because as soon as they warm up in the sun, part of the sticker no longer sticks to my dashboard. This mount fits over emergency lighting, will NOT block AC power and DOESN'T MOVE! However, here is my advice. On the first day, like some other reviews, I also believed that it does not stay installed BUT FEAR NOT. All you have to do is slide the device into the car. There are very thin "latches" (don't know what else to call it?) that snap into place on the bottom and top of your Ac vent. Because of its thinness, I didn't realize I had to actually push it in for it to attach. When I did that I had no problems! That's incredible. Highly recommended!
