I tested this extender with 5m CAT6 cable and it worked great. I then set the switch to 30-50 meters and tried it with a 40m CAT6 cable that another extension worked on. The picture was only shown sporadically. When tested with a different HDMI source, the results were the same. This device is suitable for short distances, but probably not for CAT6 cables longer than 30 meters (100 feet). I liked that it was a POI device, which meant the transmitter and receiver only needed one power supply to operate. The receiver does not require any additional power supply.
