    Works, nothing to complain about for the price.

    I had my doubts. But it works. This is definitely a lower price compared to the other products on Revain. My complete setup. CCTV DVR -> 1 to 2 HDMI Splitter -> 30ft HDMI -> 1 to 4 HDMI Splitter -> HDMI Extender. > 100ft Category 7 Cable -> HDMI Extender -> HDTV 70. Still working.

    JUST NOT WORKING: Video Cable

    I bought these to power a second display over RJ45 Ethernet. The distance covered was probably a maximum of 12 feet, the cable length should not have exceeded 40 feet due to the track laying. Bought 2 of these and neither will duplicate the display. I tested them with different RJ45 cables, different computers and different monitors. All configurations brought me no success.

    Works perfectly! Good value for money!

    Compact, simple design with a power supply on the source side. So, the power and signal are transmitted to the target receiver through the Cat6 line. The signal is clear and consistent. Launch movies and Xbox games with ease. I don't think it supports Audio Return Channel, but that's not too much of a problem. I will update if anything changes.

    There are still problems.

    This is a replacement for the original purchase. Shortly after receiving it, when I turn on my monitor, I see this bright green fluorescent line outlining my CCTV system's images. I need to remove and reconnect (e.g. reset) the Cat6 cable from the receiver side to get a clear picture. Thankfully, it's easily accessible. After this reset, the picture stays fine until I turn off the monitor. Turn it back on, I have to reset it again.

    Easy to install and operate as listed

    The hardest part was making sure I had power on the transmitter side of the devices. Initially I thought it could be powered from either side, but it is NOT. I was using an existing ethernet cable network and had to disconnect it from the ethernet switch and connect the cable directly to a splice to properly distribute power. It worked right away and adjusting the distance switch eliminated some of the "snow" I was getting in the picture.

    It's good if it works in the Accessories and Consumables section

    This product is good for the price and good when it works. I will say it doesn't seem to support CAT6a as I originally ran it and never got the picture. I tested with a normal CAT6 cable and immediately got a picture. After laying a new CAT6 cable, I connected everything correctly and got picture and sound. A day goes by and it flashes periodically, the video and sound are cut off. Therefore, return this product and try another one.

    It worked in the end

    I used a Cat6 cable to connect my laptop to the large display below via this HDMI extender but it didn't work as expected. I unplugged and reconnected all the cables. The result is still the same, but the monitor's video screen is blinking. Eventually I found that when I flipped the last switch on the receiver to the side marked 50 meters everything went better and the problem went away lol. I think it should be a settings function.

    Worked well on a 5 meter cable. Doesn't work with 40m cable

    I tested this extender with 5m CAT6 cable and it worked great. I then set the switch to 30-50 meters and tried it with a 40m CAT6 cable that another extension worked on. The picture was only shown sporadically. When tested with a different HDMI source, the results were the same. This device is suitable for short distances, but probably not for CAT6 cables longer than 30 meters (100 feet). I liked that this is a POI device which means the transmitter and receiver only need a power supply to…

    I bought this unit to connect my security system in the basement to a 19 inch TV in my living room. I ran the cat5e through the walls and the sockets at both ends, made everything nice and tidy, plugged it in and...nothing. no video. so excited at this moment. However, after a bit of troubleshooting, it turned out that one of the patch cords I was using from the wall plate to the receiving device just didn't like it. I replaced that cable and it connected and has been working ever since…
