The hardest part was making sure I had power on the transmitter side of the devices. Initially I thought it could be powered from either side, but it is NOT. I was using an existing ethernet cable network and had to disconnect it from the ethernet switch and connect the cable directly to a splice to properly distribute power. It worked right away and adjusting the distance switch eliminated some of the "snow" I was getting in the picture.
