Works well (with the right cables)
I bought this unit to connect my security system in the basement to my 19" TV in my living room. I ran the cat5e through walls and sockets at both ends, made everything nice and tidy, plugged in and the wall plate to the receiver just didn't like it. I replaced that one cable and plugged it in and has been working ever since. It's a little strange, although I used an ethernet cable tester on this one cable and it tested fine. I tried again. and nothing. Replace it again and it will work fine again.
